FARDC Reshuffle: Signals towards “National Cohesion Government”?

The blog analysis predicted Security Services Reshuffle within the coming days due to US Secretary of State Visit to Kinshasa and his stance on constitutional revision. The US State Secretary stance strongly opposes the 3d term for the incumbent president in 2016. The US declaration might have shaken the ruling party plans with regards to 2016 presidential elections.

The blog’s article: John Kerry’s Visit to DRC: Hanging the Electoral Process between the Devil and Deep Blue Sea that can be found on the link below https://edrcrdf.wordpress.com/2014/05/08/john-kerrys-visit-to-drc-hanging-the-electoral-process-between-the-devil-and-deep-blue-sea/

has predicted that “Within the next coming days, the security services will be subjected to reshuffle to ascertain that the process won’t fail on the side of rulers. Subsequently, it would be better for security services to stand neutral and siding with people’s willingness. Otherwise, the current socio-political context may not assure an observer to get the whole process calm and peaceful”.

The blog thinks that the Forces Armées de la République Démocratique du Congo (FARDC) reshuffle is one of key steps leading to materialize the whole plan of 2016 onwards. The nomination of military commanders of FARDC can be found on this link from Forum Des As: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ddfd8qngd5ccovj/FARDC_Nomination.pdf?dl=0

Soon, the blog will elaborate more on the meaning of the reshuffle and waht could be the next steps. In this meantime, the blogger believes that the forthcoming government of national cohesion has found its ground. See you soon
